Amuse yourself at Clacton Pier, a large pier complete with arcades, rides for all ages, restaurants, and even a bowling alley. If you want to glimpse life beneath the pier, pay a visit to the SeaQuarium, where you can view local, freshwater, and tropical marine life. Connect with marine life in another fashion by spending the day fishing off the dock for four-pound Carpling. End the day onboard a steamer cruise along the Thames, which romantically passes under the Tower Bridge. • very poor place... we going there cos it's close to us but to be honest it's very poor place... nothing to there... poor old pier bridge looks like it will collapse as u walk on it... careful people!
  • Nice place to walk around. Good for families as it has a lot of activities. Especially for the little ones. Or those who has interest in casino games.
  • The pier has got activities for all the family to enjoy, wether its fish and chips at the end of it or even catching your own fish at the end of the pier with designated areas. Amongst the arcades and the rides for children of all ages and I do mean for the adult children too with the litle 2 story go cart sat on the side of the pier.
  • Typical pier at a seaside town. Kids love it, good selection of rides and arcades not badly priced. Nice walks down the seafront either direction
  • It's a bog standard seaside town pier with all the outdated or traditional (depending on your viewpoint) entertainment. Clacton is a run down seaside town 80 odd miles from London, that has seen better days. There is a sandy beach here, but the views have been spoiled by an offshore wind farm.
