It's kind of scruffy, but no worse than any other soft play place. Our 18-month-old loves it. The cafeteria is kind of average.
We were coming to the end of the summer holidays and of course it was a rainy day, so I asked my daughter and her friend where would like to go. Well they said they heard of magic land from friends at... read more »
We went for a play on a Sunday, usually pretty busy but surprisingly quiet . My 8 and 6 yr old girls play lovely here and it never takes long for them to make friends with a good mix of ages . The caf... read more »
Great little place for kids, the soft play area is big enough, availability of several birthday party areas means you can almost always book a place for you kid's birthday party. Cafe makes it great for adults too so that you can heave a snake whilst waking for kids. Other entertainment available on site too. Defiantly with a visit.
I found myself in a situation where my own child became one in a succession of kids sworn at and intimidated by two older boys. The management were uninterested and happy for the kids to carry on bullying others. At other play centres the parents of the little darlings would have been asked to bring them under control, or, failing that, leave. Instead, Magicland take your money and then absolve themselves of the responsibility to provide a safe play centre.
this was the most MLG place to go when I was a kid PS the iluminade are watching my good friend adela cheznadoodlevich
I had a business meeting locally and searched this place out for my wife and child to go to whilst I was in the meeting. It was their first time at Magicland and my wife wasn't aware before we arrived that it had an allotted time limit for children playing (which is fair enough and I don't disagree with). Bizarrely although they had just been paying customers and had finished their allotted time in the play centre Magicland did not have the decency to allow them to stay indoors because Magicland was too busy. This was despite it raining sideways outside and the resulting scenario was that my wife and two year old child were stood in the freezing rain whilst I journeyed back to collect them. This would have been a four/five star experience otherwise but the staff clearly haven't got a sympathetic bone in their bodies.
Magic Land is great fun, however it is all getting a little old, needs a few things updating and refreshing.
