  • An excellent repository of Roman remains found in the town. The prettiest bits are the mosaics in the front entrance, but if you're into Roman history, the pottery and tombstones found deeper in the museum are good to visit. They have some kids things to do here, but I wouldn't bring a child that was particularly antsy.
  • Had a great time at the museum with my 7 year old. Kept his attention for the couple of hours we were there. Mosaics on show probably can't be beat anywhere and all very well laid out. Learned lots about the town also.
  • Really interesting museum about Roman life and culture in and around Cirencester. The museum is much larger than it appears from the outside so was pleasantly surprised at the value for money. The Roman townhouse garden was a lovely touch as well as all the local mosaics.
  • I've been going here since I was about 5 and it never disappoints. Great time with my niece and nephew and a fabulous gift shop!
  • A wonderful museum with artefacts going back to even before the Romans.
