  • A very different stroll in the woods. Sculptures at every turn and viewpoint. Certainly worth a visit to see it's quirkiness. As one fellow visitor said "Who needs drugs". We broke off our walk halfwa...  more »

  • Not a place for wheelchairs. There are sculptures all over the site. It has many paths and steps that go up and down. There are three ponds and it is difficult not to hear water cascading over rocks e...  more »

  • I desperately want to give this place 1 star so that people don't visit it...... Its not cheap £10 a head but for me its worth every penny. This place is my idea of heaven, all different shapes and sizes of sculptures in a wide variety of formats and pretty much all for sale. Better bring a big wallet! You get a large folder with pieces numbered and their price (over 800) and paths have coloured signs although its not always perfectly clear which way to go but Hey! In my opinion this place is not for the elderly or infirm as its a huge area with lots of steps and slippery paths so strong walking boots would be a good idea. Loos near the office are very clean and tidy. It's definitely for hardy sculpture lovers I think the owner wants this to be low key and that's fine with me. I would also strongly advise not to take children too as the terrain is not buggy friendly. This is not a playground. It's a shame it doesn't have a coffee shop as this is a huge area to cover so it would be nice to get a coffee and cake on site. I believe the owner is considering this but obviously this creates other issues. However, there is a lovely pub with excellent food just over the road which we spent an hour getting fed and watered before going back for the second half. In summary, one of the best days sculpturing I have had in a long time..I'll be back to buy my wife's favourite piece if it's still for sale!
  • An reasonably interesting walk around one afternoon with family. Sculptures are for sale (way way out of our price range) and are laid out randomly throughout the woodland, some larger pieces are very impressive. Several routes are provided via a leaflet and there is some serious walking to be done to see it all. I can imagine this is very enjoyable for those interested in the arts. We made the most of the day and made it enjoyable for my 2 year old the best we could. It is made clear at the entrance that it is not meant for unruly or loud children (fun does not seem to be permitted). The welcome was not as warm as we'd hoped on arrival. Decent pub opposite
  • A totally unique half day adventure trial. Wear comfortable shoes. Suitable for the entire family. Exposure to great art (whatever your taste!) and makes excellent photographs.
  • Tucked away in the Surrey Hills you will find quirky sculptures set in a small area of undulating woodland. Family and dog friendly, it's a fun and thought provoking place to explore. A dog friendly pub is opposite the entrance. Limited car spaces and accessibility.
  • The park was absolutely stunning. There are over 600 sculptures, with some which are truly amazing. Highly recommend going, particularly on a nice sunshine day. Bring some snacks as the full trail is a two hour walk! Not recommended for those with walking disabilities.
