  • 2015 :A great place with many small shops of a wide range...most of a day is required to see all the shops, The only problem is when you pay at a till for all your multi shop items DOUBLE CHECK your till receipt as the till system is a very dated system and not all items come up correctly on the till system e.g sale items. I got charged once for an item in the sale and again for the same item at full price, as we had many items we ended up going to another till but even the main entrance till had problems discounting a items in the sale etc. 2016: Went back about a year later from the date of this review and the cafe on the ground floor entrance area has been revamped and so have the prices..I thought the cafe prices were too high for this type of outlet. And I do not see the point of the restaurant on the top floor?. Saying that we still like coming here as there are some bespoke companies e.g like the sofas that can are hand made to order by a local company.
  • It has changed so much from last time we went. It used to be a place for unusal and quirky things and full of interesting items. Now it's a replica of any mill shop selling run of the mill Chinese tat.
  • Great location and a wide variety of departments. The food hall is well worth a visit
  • We had a fantastic day out without the hustle and bustle of Manchester, Liverpool or Preston City Centre's. We browsed at our leisure with no pressure and found some amazing Root Tree Bowls and Tables on the 3rd Floor from one of the small independent retailers which isn't on the furniture floor (?). This would cost a lot more on the high street or anywhere else (we even checked on eBay). We love the bowl and stool we bought and we loved the experience of strolling around and discovering beautiful products at bargain prices. Food, staff and location were also excellent, a great day out made even more pleasurable by the savings.
  • Nice place. Kids enjoyed it and nice cafe.
