  • Great place to spend some time, well informed hosts and interesting displays. The atmosphere is intriguing. Nearby is a nice cafe, and whilst it may not be the cheapest, it serves good quality food. Astley Park is fantastic and expertly maintained. At Christmas it is well worth coming for the lights that illuminate the hall and special actors/acts perform a variety of entertainment in the grounds. Watch out for the dates though, the Christmas lights only lay a few nights. Highly recommended
  • Only visited the hall but I was really impressed with what is a free venue! The building is amazing inside with lots of little locked rooms, would love to know what the entire building looked like! Staff were really helpful and seemed to enjoy what they were doing.
  • A hall with a lot of character. A bit ugly looking on the outside due to the finish that has been put over the brick work although I've heard they are going to restore the outside soon which would be great. It has lots of rooms in it to look around and gives a history of the hall. There are often events and activities going on throughout the year as well.
  • Free entry, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Nice little bit of historical interest close to Chorley town centre. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Visited during Chorley flower show. Quick whizz round but definitely will return for longer visit. Very interesting.
