  • My family and I had a fantastic day out at the rare breeds farm, there is so much to do and see, both my children really enjoyed it and my husband and I really did too. The animals are in good health and very well looked after, the staff are friendly and welcoming and everything was very easy to find. People writing in their reviews that the farm has a problem with wild rats are insane, it's a farm, farms attract rats! It hardly a "problem" either, the place isn't infested by any means, its exactly what I expected to see on a farm. All in all I'm very impressed.
  • Children really enjoy seeing the animals and feeding them. It's not to far from wear I live. Good place to go for children to play too inside and outdoors play equipment.
  • This is a great farm to take the kids, not too busy, lots of rare breeds to see and plenty of activities to keep the young ones entertained. The pig race is a must and the tree top walk is fun
  • Never been to somewhere so bad. Not a place to send children......far too many rats about and only 2 bait boxes. You seriously need to sort it out cholderton charlies. Your lucky i havent called the enviromental health and the VMD.
  • The farm in general was okay! A party from the ducks and geese pens! Very over grown and the ducks basically had a little bit of water the size of a sink when ducks need more water then that! And most of the staff was friendly and answered all the question that was asked. There was a moment when we was standing with the pig and its newborn piglets and a member of staff went " oh s**t " when I had my son and my friends son there! So was very inappropriate. Always we waiting about 20 minutes just for a member of staff to come to the desk so we could pay entry! Most likely won't be going back there!
