  • Lovely day, good price, children aged 2 & 4 loved it. Indoor and outdoor play areas enjoyed the most, but loved the sheep, especially babie carrots and peas. Will definitely go again.  more »
  • We went here with our 4 year old nephew as he was then and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! There is lots to do from watching pig racing to an indoor soft play! It is excellent value for money. There is ...  more »

  • Not impressed! Very expensive for what they have. We saw goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, one ginepig and a horse. They play areas were okay but if I wanted to go to a park it's free! The bouncy castle was deflated (I had already read this last night in a review) so I wasn't impressed to see this again today. I didn't see any tractor rides, the pig races weren't on. To be honest I wasted my whole day with a 2hr all round trip as the kids played in the park and the soft play. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
  • We had a great day here! Lots to keep the children (who have special needs) happy & entertained. The only negative worth noting is the car park, filled with pebbles we did have to carry a large child in a buggy to the entrance. But the friendly staff and great quality day at Cholderton's definitely made up for this! There's tractor rides, pig races, a tree top trail (for the brave), at least 3 different very good play areas plus the play barn which is soft play, trampolines, a cafe and shop, and of course the adorable animals who you can feed and pet! We fell in love with Mable the sheep. There are good clean toilets, inclusive of disabled and baby changing. We will be returning!
  • Mouldy sandwiches and sad chickens, but lovely rabbits that grown ups can pick up for the little ones to pet. Not many staff visible to guide visitors and talk about the animals. We didn't visit the indoor play area, as having done the outdoor bits in the morning we went for lunch. The cafe looks attractive and there was a good selection of cakes, but the hot savoury options were all very unhealthy and really poor quality ingredients. Our daughter had a kid's lunch box, and the sandwich was actually mouldy. There was no apology and no refund, which is disgraceful. After that we didn't feel like exploring further, as if hygiene standards are so poor in the kitchen what must the soft play be like?? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
  • Really disappointing visit today. The farm is good but is let down by the price and the cafe. The kids sandwich was more gristle than ham and then we noticed that the bread was mouldy. The adult ham egg and chips was served with two very greasy eggs on two slices of thin, watery and poor quality ham. The chips were good. Take your own food if you can.
  • Children really enjoy seeing the animals and feeding them. It's not to far from wear I live. Good place to go for children to play too inside and outdoors play equipment.
