Vision Motorsport began over a decade ago, from an award winning British rally team. Director and driver David Nutt wanted everyone to experience the exhilaration of motorsport, and this background gave Vision the skills to capture the thrill of competition with realistic events, in a safe environment.

Received a 4 super car experience from my children for my 60th birthday. This was my first opportunity to drive quality cars that I could only dream of owning. The session went very well indeed once I eventually found the location. Not the easiest place in the world to find but we got there. Tip leave yourselves some travelling contingency! Organisation and catering were good. Drivers briefing was thorough enough with a mix of technical information with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure. The individual instructors were very good with plenty of advice and encouragement. The track itself is quite short and three laps in each car were over in a flash. Out of the 4 cars my favourite was the Ferrari 430 on track however the one I wanted to take home was the Aston Martin Vantage, the Porsche 911 was predictable even though I did manage to twitch the back end a couple of times. The Lamborghini looked the biz but was a bit industrial no wonder they made tractors! Improvements I would have liked would have been a bit of a debrief on individual performance, lap times, opportunity to video drive itself. Thanks to all at VMS for a memorable session.
Rally (bad) taster Experience. They want you in and out. 6 short laps with a "no fun instructor "
Had a great day at the 'fast five' experience, and wanted to add comments of my day to help others if they are deciding to come to Vision. Firstly, set your expectations. This is not a 'track day'. At this or any of other Supercar Experience days you will not be allowed to thrash the car within an inch of it's limits. They are just too damned expensive, and you just aren't a good enough racing driver. Probably. Well, I know I'm not. This is a purpose-built track that has obviously been designed not to stretch the cars anywhere near their limit. It will let you experience some of the crude power of the cars, and let you throw them into the bends, and that was enough for me. The instructors were very helpful, coaching you to get the most out of the car and the road. I was worried that they would be overprotective of the cars, but I didn't get that feeling at all - they were giving tips (and reminders!) about the braking points and racing lines, and I didn't feel they were pushy at all. Every single time I came round the last corner, they said 'wait for it to straighten up... now floor it!'. Ok, so you only get one gear change (3rd to 4th and back again) and are lucky to be doing over 80 mph before you have to brake, but remember point 1 above - it felt exhilarating and was enough for me. Addressing some of the points brought up in other reviews; There is a cafe at the site, with somewhere warm and comfortable to site while you are waiting. I wasn't expecting there to be complimentary refreshments so I wasn't surprised that the selection of hot and cold food and drink wasn't free. I had read all the information sent before the day, and so was expecting to be offered 'excess insurance' (now £25). I weighed up all the factors and decided to not take it. There is a photographer that gets an 'action shot' of you cornering each of the cars, prices for which start at £15. They were very good quality pictures, and I did get one of these. One of the cars was substituted on the day; a Nissan GT-R for the Porsche GT3. The instructor apologised for this, pointing out there was a spare of every other car they had, but unfortunately not the Porsche. As is normal for these types of experience, the terms and conditions state that this might happen. The GT-R was a hoot - and the fastest car we drove. Great fun, and as long as you know what to expect, worth it.
Great staff, just wished I could do more laps
Not worth the money rushed through small track cars knackered and old!atom was ok need more laps tho not worth the money
