  • Well preserved and maintained. Dated from 1280, but evidence shows that there was a church on the same spot even earlier. The church is still in use. When inside the church take time and look at the f...  more »
  • Spent quite a long time , very interesting inside and out , unusual old gravestones . Church was mentioned in the Domesday Book .

  • Beautiful church which feels very much in use but therefore all the more friendly and lively. The stained glass windows are beautiful.
  • Probably the largest parish church in Kent and the burial place of King Stephen, this church is a fascinating place to visit. A delicate spire, Georgian nave and some medieval wall paintings, not to mention misericords that were once church of Faversham Abbey, all make it a worthwhile place to visit.
