  • Every August, West Dean Gardens hosts the UK's largest Chilli Fiesta - an incredible line-up of capsicum, DJs, Latin bands, entertainers, beer, cider, champagne and cuisine from around the world. Festival spirit at a low low price - £12 and £1 for kids (2016) There is something for all ages - kids to grandparents!
  • We visited the gardens with some friends who live in Chichester on the Easter weekend. Although the weather was a bit cold and cloudy, the visit was still made enjoyable. The gardens seemed well kept and in very good condition for early spring. There was a small exhibition on near the greenhouses with old non-electric law mowers, which we couldn't help but have a bit of a giggle about because of a local joke going round our home town. The Easter egg trail also seemed well done and gave a great walk around the gardens. The prize was some chocolate bunnies, which looking online, were worth about double the price which we paid here. Overall, this was a great Easter day out.
  • Stunning gardens. The day I visited I very quickly ran out of superlatives. A true slice of England. A must visit!
  • My favourite garden of all. Wonderful landscaping. Best walled garden I have ever seen. Good cafe too.
