  • Well worth a visit as full of interesting Roman artefacts that are really well explained. Not very big so only takes a couple of hours to explore.
  • wasn't sure what this was all about but its a small museum set over 3 floors ground floor shows remains of a roman bath uncovered on the site. a view of the cathedral from top floor. its free to visit...  more »
  • This museum is very family friendly and most interesting - our grandchildren loved it and also enjoyed a "night at the museum" a few weeks later

  • What a wonderful place. The 'spotlighted' picture is of the Roman Bath House around which the museum was built. Full of terrific exhibits and very family friendly. Easy to find between the Cathedral and the Library. Great staff.
  • Nice museum about Ancient Romans, great for little kids with lots of dress up places and fun for them. Interesting content and really friendly staff.
  • Started with a coffee in the cafe next to the roman baths. Very interesting museum wether you're local or not.
  • Full of wonderful history. Tea and cake available at the entrance.
  • I found it a rather disjointed museum although it did have some interesting bits & pieces.
