  • Cheap to park - £1 for 2 hours, I believe £2.50 for all day. Lovely place to walk around, nice woodland, well maintained paths and some educational signage. Very pleasant. Will be returning when there is sun rather than snow! Great as a quick trip out from Chesterfield.
  • We first visited Linacre Reservoirs on a very cold day. We walked for around 7 miles that first time and noted that we could branch off on to other walks. Our second visit - we liked it so much the first time - was on a warmer day and again we walked for miles around the Reservoirs. Through woods, around water, among the scents and sounds. A packed lunch outside Old Brampton church with a clock face of 63 minutes! Back through a field of golden grain to the car. Beautiful.
  • Great place for walking dogs.
  • Good walking all year dog loves it
  • Lovely place to walk round whatever the season, unfortunate that you now have to pay for parking.
