  • Peaceful fishery with well stocked ponds/lake
  • Great place for a relaxed day fishing
  • Best lake, been here loads, and caught loads every time
  • Fished on badger lake today with my good friend Ian berry .Have to say the banjo feeder had the rod jumping off the rod rest for most of the day. We used banded pellet on a 4'' hook length to a size 16 hook with micro pellets absolutely great fun we were trying to eat our sandwiches and land fish at the same time. Both of us had 70+ lbs of carp. Can't wait till next time. Just don't take your eye off the rod as mine ended up going across the lake .
  • totally concur with the description of this fishery, however I will add that the owners are extremely friendly and very helpful with fishing tips if you require them.Having only recently returned to fishing, following my retirement both my tackle and technique were very rusty.when I arrived first time at the fishery I was given a guided tour by the owner, how about that for service.I was advised to fish Kingfisher lake as I was waggler fishing, and despite the cold (it was 3 degrees celcius) I caught roach and skimmers throughout thel day and missed many bites ( I did say I was very rusty).I spent the day with my new best mate bob the robin, who lived up to his name and helped himself to my bait all day.I was also given a fishing lesson by a Heron who sat(probably tut-tutting at my poor skill) about 4 pegs away, then helped himself to lunch.I spent the day well wrapped up listening to the sound of woodpeckers ( or was that my teeth chattering?), and watching rabbits scampering about. This is a nugget of a find for me.Cheshire is well supplied with day ticket fisheries but Lloyds Meadow is easily the most beautiful ,peaceful, and friendliest fishery I have visited.I will certainly be exploring the lakes and enjoying the tranquillity of the fishery on many occasins in the near future.
