  • A nice little park. The friendly squirrels eating food out of peoples hands was nice. Was interesting to watch the pecking order of nature. A wood pigeon had a peanut, the duck waddled over and took the peanut off the wood pigeon. The leaping squirrel went up to the duck and took the peanut off the duck. Another observation was how relaxed the wood pigeons were around people. There was a wood pigeon standing just by my feet. I am a country boy, wood pigeons when they see a human fly away. Sometimes i have managed to sneak up on an unsuspecting wood pigeon, getting right close before the little fella flies away as if the Loch Ness Monster has crept up on it, flying off in sheer terror. Wood pigeons however, deserve no sympathy they are very greedy. Many times have i left food for birds, watching them eat the sunflower seeds only for a wood pigeon to waddle up, scare the birds away and eat the whole lot, no wonder they are so fat, if they weren't so greedy they might be skinny.
  • A lovely park by the river with play area and train for the kids. Take a bag of nuts with you as there are hundreds of squirrels that are so tame they will literally eat from your hand
  • Well maintained well maintained very welcome green Oasis close to the edge of the city, recently redeveloped with help of a major Grant . It has great view overlooking the River Dee, excellent cafe, specific safe thanks Duff play area and miniature children steam railway. Dogs only allowed access if kept on lead. Excellent disabled access including disabled toilet. Sufficient seating but totally inadequate number of waste bins for the location size and type of area often resulting in unsightly littering in the summer months.
  • Beautiful park. Great for picnics in the summer. Has toilet facilities, cafe, playground and a miniature railway. Lovely views out over the river and Chester Meadows.
  • Lovely park for chilling in during the day. Flowers, art, children's area and close to the river
