  • What a lovely couple of hours browsing here. A lot of interesting facts and displays. Such facts as loads of Tynesiders coming down to help the ship-building industry in Chepstow. The way the hospital...  more »

  • It was an interesting place to find in a small town, during a short passing-by. At the time the entrance was free, which left me no doubts about going in. What I found inside was a clean environment, everything seemed organised and there was interesting and fun technology linked to the expositions. And the staff was very welcoming!
  • Well worth a visit! Popped in after visiting the castle, it was very quiet and had quite a lot of interesting things to see, and it was free!
  • It's free and interesting. Definitely worth a look :)
  • Excellent experience and it's free. Lady on the desk was charming. After finding the castle disappointing this was a very pleasant surprise. Well worth a visit.
  • Loved it. Really nice, quaint, experience. Small local museum with free entry and a range of exhibitions. Particularly liked the history of the town and bridge, and also the hospital/school section. It's not big, but give it an hour of your time if you are in the area - it's a cracker. Architecture in the building is also lovely with one of the nicest staircases you'll find.
