  • A short walk fron Castle or Bridge this lovely old building will surprise you with information about the town and river.
  • We'd just been to the castle opposite when we noticed the museum was open - and free - so extended our time in Chepstow for an extra hour, and we're glad we did. Not the biggest museum you'll ever vis...  more »

  • Loved it. Really nice, quaint, experience. Small local museum with free entry and a range of exhibitions. Particularly liked the history of the town and bridge, and also the hospital/school section. It's not big, but give it an hour of your time if you are in the area - it's a cracker. Architecture in the building is also lovely with one of the nicest staircases you'll find.
  • Popped into here on a visit to Chepstow. Perhaps you could describe it as a bit old-school in style, but I rather enjoy that about it.
  • Short time to visit it after visiting the Castle but it was good.
