  • Right in the city centre and a minute walk distance from the high street, this is a gem ! Must be visited !
  • This is a large building but has pleasant grounds for sunny days and inside it is a substantial cathedral building
  • This is a small but fascinating Cathedral with a lot of interesting modern art to be seen in addition to the more traditional features
  • A beautiful and surprising cathedral. As Chelmsford is a fairly new diocese, the cathedral has only been a cathedral for a relatively short period of time, but the work done since its change in status has been fantastic. Simultaneously an ancient and modern space for worship. A real gem in the heart of Chelmsford.
  • 800 year old seat of the Bishop of Chelmsford, this flint rubble, stone and brick built Cathedral has a magnificently colourful interior. Not immediately seen from the shopping complex, arrival in the court yard uncovers this peaceful gem. Guides are willing and will assist with history and explanations. Parking is best at one of the many town car parks.
  • Stunning cathedral in the heart of Chelmsford. If you visiting the area it's worth the visit.
  • Many great parts to this place - best for me, on a walk through the grounds weekdays, always see the benches packed with people eating lunch, reading or relaxing ..
  • Makes Chelmsford a city! Beautful Cathedral in the heart of the city!
