Where to stay in Canterbury

To explore Canterbury at your own pace, book your rooms at a family-run hotel in the heart of this historical city. Staying in this area keeps you close to all of the city's main historical sites, as well as its major shopping center. Family-run hotels offer traditional values, warm hospitality, and fully-licensed bars and restaurants, all at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains. For an equally comfortable and affordable stay, consider one of many centrally located guesthouses, which feature elegant rooms and covered courtyards.

  • Absolutely loved the place had a great time with the kids and lost a few pound through chasing them round.
  • A great place to take the little ones for an hour or two to let off steam. Incredibly noisy (as you'd expect!) but plenty to keep the kids entertained whilst you grab a coffee.
  • Big play area with lots of different areas and a decent toddler area. Very friendly staff and most importantly, great coffee!
  • Great place. I had loads of fun and slept well. My 4 year old loved it too!
  • Great soft play centre which is particularly good for toddlers...loads for them to do including a well-stocked railway set and kitchen play area for imaginary play. The main attraction for me though is the new menu which includes such yummy and healthy fare as freshly baked scones and homemade soups and quiches...happy mum - happy children I always say!
