  • This cottage and museum is run by locals. It is tiny but it is the place where Milton wrote Paradise Lost.

  • Fascinating! a beautiful building and lovely gardens. The gentleman who runs it gave us a great tour full of interesting information. To be able to sit in Milton's chair where he sat while ( dictating, as he was blind by the time he lived there) writing Paradise Lost was a thrill.
