  • The Fernworthy reservoir is a reservoir that was flooded in 1942 and as several others in the drinking water of the surrounding towns such as E.g. Plamouth Dartmoor. A beautiful hiking trail around the Lake, but very different attached leads from the parking lot. It can be very muddy in wet weather and rubber boots are recommended. The Lake offers the opportunity to swim. Worth seeing is the imposing dam, which completes the reservoir and its overflow the water thunders especially in the spring when high water level in the depth.
