  • We called to see the giant on the way home and to find somewhere to have lunch. When we parked you could not see him for the fog but after giving our dog a quick walk for about 15 minutes it was clear...  more »
  • what a splendid specimen, and brought to life as on the side of a steep hill, with a car park than gives you a interrupted view
  • Well this certainly stands out, legend has it that couples have fornicated on the Giant to improve fertility, mmm not sure about that but he certainly stands out!

  • If you know where to find it (not really signs in the village pointing you there) it is quite a surprise. I mean, if you are looking for it, it could be on any hill there.. :-) The site itself was clean and the view on the giant was good. Just a pity that the giant is not that well seen with hardly any visible outlines from this distance. I would certainly believe that the lines are being "repainted" every three to four years. Doing it more often might attract more visitors? Nice to have been there, but will not visit again.
  • An even bigger disappointment than Brexit. Saw this in October and the man is barely visible. Hopefully at other times of the year the Giant looks better than it does now. I didn't add a picture as my camera's resolution wasn't high enough to capture any kind of discernible human outline.
  • Easy to park with a reasonable view of the giant man.
  • Probably the best place to see the Giant, but the Giant Pic itself is not in good conditions: Too less contrasts at normal light conditions, and too many disturbances by people having waked directly around the Giant Pic.
  • Not very clear to see and the location of the viewpoint is a bit naf. Quite a funny sight initially though.
