  • Great tour guides but a bit short. The boat makes it different but did feel a bit like just going along one tunnel then coming back.  more »

  • A nice underground cave experience. A fair amount of steps to get into the boat itself and a very low tunnel. Upon reaching the end of the line for the boat there is a cave area which opens up and looks great. I don't know why but the way back always seems shorter but definitely not a bad thing.
  • Been here a number of times. The guides are excellent. Seem to love their job. Certainly get the 271 bus here to visit if in Sheffield. It's the Peak District and it's lovely!
  • Partner took me here for my birthday, absolutely loved it. There's not much to see if you're a cave tour lover like me, it's one long corridor and then a cavern but it's still great to visit and the fact its on a boat gives it extra character. Our tour guide was called james and managed to get all the information to us even though 2 French kids were talking over him.
  • Man made lead mine. Tour consists of a boat ride into a cavern. Not for the claustrophobic. Tour guide was very informative. Expensive to do the tour but worth it.
  • Basically this is more of a boat ride than a cavern experience. The guide was OK but didn't have a lot to talk about. If boat rides through tunnels are your thing it's good though.
