Great views and a fair price for an English heritage site. After a very steep zig zag walk up the hill you are rewarded with spectacular views over the valley and the remnants of the old castle, the only standing part now is at the rear with a staircase up into it.
Lovley little castle. Not badly priced either. Great views arround. Great fun for kids. Great fun for adults! Be warned its a long climb up tot he top! But there are benches along the way. Take a picnic and enjoy the view!
Great castle. The pathway up to it is rather steep and narrow. You'll need to be fit!
Pretty steep climb to the top but the views when you get there are well worth it
I've always wanted to go as a I seen pictures of in a book, well worth a visit. Youll be rewarded with great views at the top. Plenty of photo taking to be done of castleton and mam tor and Peveril Castle.
