  • We ended up at the Peak Cavern almost by accident when my less organised companion failed to check the opening times of Perevil Castle.... so we went just to make the trip to Castleton worthwhile. I'm...  more »
  • Loved it, tickets were 11.00 pound each and I had been told about it so thought I would give it ago. Me and my friends had a wicked time. A bit crowded I think a bit more space in between seats and le...  more »
  • Had a lovely visit! The tour guide was great, both informative and fun! The tour didn't go very far into the caves, but there was still plenty to see

  • Great tour and really interesting history. Our tour guide was passionate, very knowledgeable about the cave and funny which really improved the experience. Really recommend a visit but don't bother with the joint ticket to speedwell which is a real let down
  • A breathtaking cave entrance. We had a fantastic tour guide who provided interesting facts and stories about the cave. You really feel like like you are taking a tour through the cave not just in the present but through the ages.
  • Great shelter on a rainy day. The tour guide did a good job, but half the hour was spent on a rope making demo. You don't go very far into the rock and the main stories are around how the tires were run in days of yore.
  • Interesting guide of these caves which includes a history/demo of rope making. Our guide was very funny and informative and we felt it was well worth the admission fee.
  • Really interesting place to visit. The guide was excellent and very informative. It was a great experience. The tours run every hour (starting on the hour). Parts of the cave had quite low ceilings so you had to stoop a bit.
