At Diggerland, you can enjoy over 15 different thrilling rides. While this site looks modest from the outside, it's full of new challenges. Learn to drive and operate real JCB diggers. During your visit, test your driving skills on the dump trucks, find buried treasure, dig a hole using the giant dirt diggers, take in the views from the sky shuttle, and so much more. If you don’t care to drive, try out the Diggerland train or super track. Activities for children are also available. The little ones can enjoy a digger sandpit, pedal power tractors, and an indoor ball pit. The attraction also has refreshment stands and picnic areas if you get hungry. The theme park has a solid reputation for a friendly, helpful staff, and the site often offers special discounts, so check online or call ahead for more information. Just a brilliant place to go for a day. The young staff throughout were totally brilliant. For an 8 year old girl and 11 year old boy this is great; hand eye co-ordination say no more. A 11 year old driving a diggger off road. Hello where can you do this. My wife and I at 65 yrs with grand kids had the best day from 11am to 5pm busy but time to do everything more than once was brill. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks for a great day. Diggerland your great. Jim Jan Keir and Skye.
After we went the first time ,we bought season passes straight away. Amazed by how polite all the staff are. Also astonished about all the rides available and how my oldest 2 children, ( 4 and 5) could pretty much go on everything in assisted. This is a brilliant family day out, with indoor and outdoor facilities. I would recommend a packed lunch though.
Good for children aged 5-10 and adults to help but I'd say not too good for teenagers or adrenaline junkies. Not nearly as big as I'd expected and paying £80 for 2 adults and 2 5 year olds I really did expect more. Be prepared to pay for the dodgems and cars on the little track as well. It's very over priced considering Flamingo Land is only £22 entry with much more on offer. The staff on the whole were friendly but the "girl" on the barrel train really didn't enjoy her job at all to the point it was quite uncomfortable to look at her. The cafe could do with an overhaul, it's okay if you want fried burger, fried chicken and fried anything else. It also had a technical problem preventing card payments. It would have been a great help to have been informed of this on arrival as my partner had to go off site to find a cash machine before we could order. Leaving the park you have to exit through the shop which is seriously overpriced even for the smallest of souvenirs. My advise would be drive a few junctions on the M62 and get the same digger toy for 1/3 of the price. The children didn't obviously notice the bad points of the day and they had a great time. I probably won't return in the future though as I feel there are better places around.
If your child is below 90cm they get in free, don't let that incentivise you into thinking you're getting a deal. My little one was only allowed on maybe 7 out of 18 rides, and I had to accompany him on most if not all, meaning that my wife was on her own mostly. If you are thinking of going, then just one parent and child will suffice and you will save yourself an admission fee, which is the thick end of £20. Make sure you're kids are 3/4 years old at least to get the best out of this place and then, make sure you've plenty of cash to get in. A day out for 4 is gonna cost you almost £100.
Went digger racing, really good fun. It went dark while we were racing and that just made it better. Brilliant twist in the activity, You;ll have to do it to find out though.
