  • Fantastic walks through beautifully kept gardens, plenty still to see even in mid-October. Well worth a visit and if you are lucky you can spot red squirrels
  • Have been visiting Threave Gardens for many years in all seasons. A beautiful garden that has developed and changed over the years. The daffodil bank in the spring is spectacular. The walled garden never fails to delight. We've seen bats swooping down to the pond taking a drink and have often seen red squirrels. The woodland walk is lovely and you are virtually guaranteed to see a red squirrel on the feeders when you sit in the bird hide, along with a variety of small birds. It's well worth going on a guided tour of the house.
  • beautiful gardens, lovely flow to the walk. Nice kids play area. Cafe nice coffee and not too overpriced.
  • Picturesque gardens in the grounds of Threave House with small playpark and nice cafe / gift shop. Great setting for weddings.
  • great place to visit, lovely walks around the impressive gardens
