Funtastic Play Reviews
The new play structure was a good edition, but it was very busy today and this saw a lot of children running up the slide and making it difficult for others to use. A member of staff needs to monitor ... more »

I have used this place for 4 years now for my kids parties and general play but recently the staff have been a let down. For a start...a welcoming smile costs nothing. The rambling of the health and safety check list before a kids party is like you are being scolded (I'm the adult ). The staff now circle the play area like vultures. ..it's like there is a competition to see who can find the most offences. The most ridiculous was on my last visit (the 4th party I've arranged there). My 78 year old elderly father finally got off the bench and walked over to the bottom of the slide to see his grand children. His eyes are bad so he was standing about one foot in on a soft mat, a young lady from staff approached him and asked him to get off the mat as he was wearing shoes. Bravo. The looks of the staff at the entrance as they check everyone going in and out could be more sincere. Great venue, but recently a big let down by its staff and their attitude which to be honest isn't conducive for a child's entertainment venue....more for queuing up outside a nightclub. Great place, great in the past but recently the Fun has gone from Funtastic. Hopefully they will correct the attitudes.
This place is great. Big facility, great value. Have been here when busy and on a Monday morning. Great fun for a 4 and 2 year old whenever.
Great place, I've been to numerous birthday parties here as well as just bringing my 5 year old to play. Fab food and coffees, brilliant soft play for the kids and even a section for babies and toddlers to play. Recommended this place for babies aged 6 months plus and older kids too!
Awful experience today took My 3 children and 2 friends for my sons 1st birthday (not a party hosted by them). Paid everyone in and bought all lunches for 5 kids and myself. Spent £50 Brought out a cake after was told under no circumstances and it was removed to shoe area. Had party bags in a separate bag covered was asked to remove them also plus my one year olds food bag with his snacks which was in the same bag so the manager vultures must have seen them on camera which weren’t even moved into view and they were confiscated also all because I hadn’t paid for a party as I didn’t have the numbers. Asked them did they was to take the child’s water cup too as I brought that in. Disgusted with the place and left abruptly with disappointed kids. Will never be back and I so glad I didn’t book usual Halloween party with them. The staff are all wearing headphones obviously taking instructions from the “invisible manager” watching on camera. Feel like we have been spied on and it’s invaded the fun we should have had. They even asked me to remove cake in tinfoil that I put in a friends handbag that was concealed telling me it was sandwiches!!! I wouldn’t like to see anyone with kids and intolerances trying to bring own food in!!!! It was only a cake!!! I had party bags which were not visible that I was asked to hand over so obviously someone seen them frOm a camera so the reply to this is rubbish. Also I was asked what was wrapped in tin foil in a friends bag which is none of anyone’s business. I felt like emptying my handbag on the table .
Wonderful play area. So so clean it's like a new penny. My goodness I will be regular customer now. Beautiful food too
