  • Tried The Swift with friends last week and it was so good we came back this week. We all chose different meals and were impressed with how good the food was. This week we tried the Sunday lunch menu and it was excellent. The best we have had in a restaurant. We would highly recommend it and will happily use it whenever we are in the area.
  • Service was so poor I had to go and find the waiter to clear our starters ! Checked on our meal just before we had finished. We were the only people in the restaurant. Meal itself was of poor quality. Squid wasn't fresh, pork was dry and tasteless, burgers served on a freezing slate, need I go on. Obviously I'll never be back.
  • Okish meal but the service was really poor. The view of the castle is nice.
  • The food is a little bit disappointing. We ordered the Irish stew (suppose to be the signature Irish meal). It was quite flavourless. However, the service is very nice. Staff are very lovely and speedy. They didn't charge us extra for the bread. Plus, their Guinness bread is not bad at all. The location is lovely. You can see the sea and Carriahfergus castle at the window seats.
  • Drink isn't too expensive, also not the cheapest, but there's a load of pool tables upstairs and some foosball which are good fun with a few drinks.
