  • Three golf courses including the Championship. There is an environmental policy in place with many local organisations involved in recording the fauna. The links committee produce an impressive booklet showing the diversity.
  • Was awakened at 6.30am with a loud noise from outside sounded like the greens on golf course were being cut. This lasted 30 minutes. Not ideal when you are going away to relax. About 1 hour later banging started on the buidling being constructed in site. It would have been good if this had been mentioned when booking hotel. Left feeling tired and not very relaxed which was a shame. Breakfast and spa was fine.
  • Great stay at this superb hotel. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Great food lovely room with great views of golf course. Highly recommended.
  • Ok staff are fine hotel in general is fine. However, the room was terrible. As you can see from the photos we had a dirty great big sky light right in front of the window. It blocked out all the outside light. We had no view what so ever. When I complained one member of staff shrugged her shoulders and basically did nothing. I complained to a manager who said it would cost us £40 to move to a different room. When we booked the room we were told there was good views. There was not and it ruined our short break. What ever you do don't book into room 118.
  • One of the greatest courses in golf. Links golf at its most pure. Bring extra balls and some humility.
