  • What a great place to visit with lots to see and appreciate for young and old alike. Run completely by volunteers and enthusiasts I would certainly recommend it to everyone. Just a shame it's not open...  more »

  • Great museum, iconic aircraft and really informative exhibits. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to answer questions. You get to sit in a Vulcan!!!

  • There are very few places in the world where you can climb aboard a Vulcan; this is one of them. Also open are a Canberra and a rare Percival Sea Prince. The collection of aircraft is small and - because they have no hangar space - looking rather shabby. The inside areas are much better looked after, with information on all the local airfields, relics of Britain's space programme and much else. Because it receives no government money it is put together by people who know and love their subject, a proper grown-up's museum. One of the nicest small museums I have visited in a long time.
  • Kids loved going in the aeroplanes.great experience.lovely friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the museum
  • Exelent had a great vist well worth a visit
  • Really interesting...good for a few hours if you look at everything, could spend longer there if you read all the info. Worth it for the Vulcan alone!!
  • Good to see parts of the Blue Streak rocket.
