  • We stayed just one night in February in the B&B cottage. The room was adequate size with all the amenities, and was clean and as warm as you wanted. A small fridge might be useful, but hey, it's a tin...  more »

  • Okay trip with the kids but much of the medieval castle no longer stands. Mostly a restored manor house.
  • Very pleasant riverside venue. Beautiful in the sun. Very pleasant car parking alongside the river with lovely river views
  • Not alot of caste left to see but otherwise nicely restored
  • nice place not much of the castle left
  • Massive restoration project, done very well. Nice to walk around the walls and get a different view of the town and river. The Georgian house contains lots of local history, although the bit dedicated to the last owner is a bit overdone.
