  • It had a bit of everything, entertaining young and older children as well as the adults. The children's play area had a lot of activities, with a grass area outside suitable for picnics. We hired a pedalo which was lots of fun, then went to buy an ice cream and walk past the rose garden. We were lucky enough to enjoy a lovely sunny day. We would all (4 adults and 2 children) highly recommend it
  • A great place to spend an afternoon strolling about. There is a small play park for kids and more than enough wildlife to keep them entertained. For adults, it's just a really beautiful place to walk around. Beware though, this place is crawling with runners at most tines of the day!
  • Nice lake with swans, ducks and geese. Has a cafe and ice cream stall, you can row boats on the lake and there is a play area for the kids. Also there is a ice cream van situated on the entrance. Lots of benches and areas to chill. Lovely walks in the gardens.
  • Pleasant walk for all the family, round the lake. Flat and reasonably smooth. Good for cycling, scooters, wheel chairs. Lots of benches. Nice café, usually a couple of ice cream vendors. You can hire canoe's or pedalo type boats. Nice playground as well.
  • We tend to go here earlier in the day as it can get very busy during warm weather. My wife and I take the dog for a walk around the lake and down in the gardens area. Plenty of things to see and do and plenty of places to sit dotted around this park. You can spend a good few hours here easily just walking around. 😎
