  • Visited today (29th June 2016) as part of a group visit with the Transport Trust. Made very welcome by friendly staff. Underground tour was very informative with extremely knowledgeable guide who explained all in great detail and answered our questions with ease and in a friendly manner.
  • A great 'mine' experience. You are advised to book a tour as it is possible that a school party might be on a tour. Two tours a day with an experienced Ex-miner. Exhibition showing history of coal mining in the area. Gift shop and Cafe on site. Cafe very reasonable prices.
