  • Lovely park where we went for a walk after meeting for lunch in Cardiff. Main pathway is well paved, so suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Restrooms in building adjacent to the parking area were well lit, clean & tidy. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore all this park has to offer, but what we did see has made us want to go back. This park is very popular with dog walkers.
  • Good park because it's sheltered by the vastly huge trees. Lots of clean pathways to avoid the muddy land if you're not wearing wellies. Human toilets by car park with an outside hose for your boots and dogs feet. The only negative is some dog owners let their dogs off their leads way too early in the car park upon their arrival. Consequently some very excited dogs running loose amongst other dogs and cars exiting.
  • Really lovely place to go for a walk. Good condition paths with plenty of space. The kids love it and there are always a lot of dog walkers here.
  • Lovely clean park, amazing flowers in the spring/summer time. Toilets could be cleaner
  • Excellent park close to the outskirts of Cardiff, great for walking dogs and kids alike. Mostly paved with plenty of walking routes, a nice lake, a small structure (castle if you're a kid) and excellent flora. For longer walks, additional walking routes are connected to the park, including the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway walk. Parking is ample but busy during school holidays and weekends.
