Been here many times for concerts and never once had a problem. staff always friendly and attentive and views from all seats great (unless tall person in front which is nothing to do with venue).  more »

  • I thought the sound was reasonable, compared with many other large indoor arenas, though perhaps Bob Dylan and his band just weren't cranking it up too loud. Seating was reasonable, though the little kick board attached along back of row in front (terraced Block 7) reduced leg room. Not altogether uncomfortable, though. I do recommend tiered Blocks 6 and 7 - though a little distant from the stage, the view is good and uninterrupted, whereas I did hear complaints from people in the Stalls, not being able to see past people in front. Staff were very keen to stop any photography - don't know if that's usual, or dependent on act/event.
  • Good venue plenty of access good disabled access and disabled viewing area might be worth phoning ahead to discuss disabled requirements. Plenty of third party parking. Plenty of places to eat and a number of restaurants and one or two coffee shops offer late night opening during large events. Always worth having a coffee while you wait for the crowds around the lifts to quietly disappear.
  • The one star is for the efficiency of getting in to the event. Saw Iron Maiden here and its easily the worst sound I have encountered in 40 years watching live music. The house PA system isn't up to rock music and the huge echo from the tin roof rendered much of the gig unlistenable. Surely acoustic panels in the roof would fix this? I won't be back any time soon to watch music.
  • Nice mid-size venue with good standing space but just a few sitting place in back that is good if you like to see stage from distance. Bar: good thing that there is barriers to make a queue and staff regulates people movement so you can be sure you will be served easier. As much venues I've been and never saw this before. But make sure you have cash because bar take cards over £10 payments. There's ATM inside but there's no guarantee that it will be working. There were long queues after supporting act before main act. We spent nearly 15-20 minutes in a queue. But if you want just a beer there were few ladies with backpacks full of beer bottles. Friendly staff. Arena is few steps from huge St David's shopping centre that has plenty of parking space and is cheap (£2 after 5PM till 10PM; £4 overnight till 6AM). At the same building complex there is another parking space in John Lewis centre but this car park closes after midnight and you won't be able to get your car until early morning. There's parking spaces just next to arena outside. But it is NCP and it is very expensive.
  • Good venue for events. The only thing keeping it for 5 stars is that the seats were a little uncomfortable for a long show. Staff were amazing and surprisingly little queues for facilities considering the number of people here. Well managed
