  • Very scenic place to sit and enjoy the river. Also punting is available at the top of the park which is very relaxing.
  • We did walking with my wife and daughter of 15 months he slept a NAP all the way, it's very nice. We took many photos, seems taken from a tale... is quiet. It is imperative if you visit Canterbury.

  • A peaceful amd beautiful retreat near the heart of canterbury, with monastery ruins, play area and lovely rover stour running through
  • Nice gardens with the river Stour running through them. Public toilets and refreshments in season. Boat trips available. The gardens are popular with locals and visitors alike and can get very busy.
  • We were visiting Canterbury on a coach trip touring Kent and decided to do a walk taking in all the sites although we were disappointed that the tourist information centre haven't produced one specifically for that so we had to use a street map and hope we didn't get lost! We walked through these gardens on our way to find the city wall and the Grey Friars Chapel. It is a little haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
  • Beautiful! Nice to seat and enjoy the evening.
  • Tranquil and pretty place to sit and relax.
  • Lovely gardens to spend time in. Shame the council wrecked some of the lovely trees in the name of going back in the time, which didn't really achieve much of note overall.
