  • This is a really nice play area, lots to do for children of all different ages. Very good parking (10p for 2 hours), there are toilets and at popular times there is often a refreshments truck. The Westgate gardens are only a short walk away and there is a large open space with goals for a kick about too. The play area it completely open, and next to a river and several busy paths and cycle routes, it is busy with lots of different people around and younger children do need to be closely supervised.
  • High quality play park with 3 play areas. A good quality of play equipment, lots of climbing frames, slides and round-abouts / spinny things, swings, see saws and swings. We were there on a very busy summer day but there were no ques for the kids, The equipment is all in top notch condition, very little graffiti or rubbish, good clean toilets and baby change
  • The greenest part of Canterbury, totally worth visiting, especially on sunny days. Great place to take kids for a walk. There is also bicycle path. There are training/exercise machines free to use. There are working public toilets for men and women. There is usually also a small food and ice cream van next to it. I attached parking rules for cars in photo.
  • Lots of families, it's perfect to cool off or for jogging / cycling. Sometimes there is an ice-cream track there as well
  • Would happily take a small child there, long walk to find the park, but well worth a visit, lots of equipment for children to choose from.
