  • this is a great place to go as there is a maze for little ones and you can walk to the top of the tower and see the whole of Canterbury
  • I have marked this place down as it is usually very busy after school and in the summer, I would avoid these midday/afternoon in the summer if you want some quiet. It is a nice place hang out if you are young or to stop for lunch however I wouldn't plan my day around visiting this place. There is a small maze for children to play in and the "mound" of and old Mott and Bailey castle provides great views over the city. There is a wonderful food fair here in the summer that is worth looking out for but other than that it is just a park. There is a small kiosk selling ice creams, tea and some foods. There are benches, a bandstand, a fountain and flower beds to enjoy. You can walk along the city wall just next to the park for a better view of the outer city or to get to the train station.
  • Beautifully maintained gardens right in the heart of Canterbury City. In its center there is a water feature and during summer months a small Cafe that serves sweets and hot drinks. From the top of the mound in the middle of the park you can get amazing views of Canterbury. This is an ideal place to stop of during your visit as you can relax on the grass verges or even take a short walk along the city wall nearby.
  • Lovely garden to walk through - has a fountain, a maze and you can walk on the boundary. The views are great in each season.
  • Lovely quiet park in the middle of Canterbury served by a great little food shed. More could be done about the broken glass
  • Lovely well kept gardens just inside the city wall, there's a little snack hut here in the summer months and it's one of Canterbury's nicest parks.
