  • This museum has a small charge so it gets neglected. It is close to a stunning art space undergoing renovation as I write in 2016 but it is worth visiting if you are going to see Magdalene College or ...  more »

  • I was there on my own today.I must say,I really enjoyed the it.The man Tom in the shop was very friendly, and very helpful. The museum was full of local artifacts, and there was also audio information. I'll be back next time I'm in Cambridge.
  • Good for children, but very chaotic and little.
  • If you have a couple of hours to spent in Cambridge it could be worth the 4£ of the admission ticket. Nothing special but still you can find some interesting old stuff. It's basically a collection of tools and amenities used in daily life activities from the former owner of the house.
  • Make sure to visit the house behind the main exhibition centre
  • Wonderful place to visit if you're in Cambridge. So many great things to see and all in such a lovely environment. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us and there were lots of things to keep the children amused. If you visit on Saturday or school holidays you will be able to visit the tearoom for some fantastic tea and super yummy cakes. There's even a lift so the whole place is easily accessible.
