  • Do good shoes to go up to the tower and see this view in 360 on cambridge. If pus have Sun: magnificent views of colleges and monuments.

  • As is said when go to Cambridge climb a tower is what we did is ok not too impressed church is lovely
  • This is a nice retreat in the middle of a bustling Cambridge. The church has an interesting history and the views from the tower (fee payable to climb up) as magnificent
  • Best views of Cambridge. A must visit and cheap entrance price
  • A place of peace and contemplation right in the centre of a Cambridge - take a seat and have a think. I will be back to have a better look round and climb the tower
  • Compared to the Great St Andrews, Great St Mary's actually is great! They've some charming architecture going on in there. Mind you, there is no shortage of charming architecture in Cambridge city centre, so this may not be at the top of your list.
  • Awesome little church located right in the heart of scholarly Cambridge. If the tower is open it's well worth the two quid to walk up the claustrophobic steps to the top to enjoy a unique viewpoint. My only complaint is that the wire meshing they have erected greatly restricts photographic angles. Still worth visiting though - bring your zoom lens to capture some close-ups of quadrangle colleges.
  • Very narrow stairway climb to the top, but great views when you're up there
