  • Great college. Great room. Great service. Not as old as others. Breakfast in dining hall. Okay In house pub.
  • I stayed in Churchill College whilst attending a conference at the Moller Center. It's exactly what you would expect from a student room, but plenty clean enough. The breakfast was nice.
  • This is among the most spacious and luxurious student accommodations i have seen, almost up to hotel standards: Large writing desk, wired Ethernet access, lots of storage space, large bathroom with go...  more »

  • Was told when visiting there last month that it was meant to be a UK-version of MIT, but eventually turned into one of the constituent colleges of Cambridge University. Personally I liked much of its opener and more modern atmosphere and sense of presence in comparison with those older ones. In addition the Churchill Campus is greener and leafier.
  • Very pleasant enviorns. The new Cowan Court accommodation offers remarkably good rooms for a super price.
  • Had a pleasant stay here whilst attending a course at the nearby veterinary school. Was very handily located for this. Very enjoyable breakfasts.
  • Wonderful College! As part of the graduate community I have found all the staff very helpful and accommodating, whilst the facilities are excellent: there's a gym, tennis courts, lots of pitch for cricket/rugby/football, and the basketball courts are coming along nicely too (funds have been allocated for 2 new hoops). Possible downsides for graduate students is that college accommodation is not guaranteed beyond the first year (unless you have children), and that it's slightly out of town (since many people cycle though that is rarely a problem). Nearest supermarket is Aldi, which is really cheap, and the students are very active in loads of different things (from sports to board games to presenting research, I heard some people were demoing Oculus virtual reality goggles in the buttery the other day and an upcoming event is going to be a Hawaii themed party after formal dinner - so yea, variety aplenty). All-in-all am enjoying everything about Churchill College!
  • good facility, nice and friendly
