  • Well pitched and well taught, after the one day course I am already looking at and tasting wines in a different way. Keen to find time for Mark's WSET Level 2.  more »

  • Add this to your things you must do while in Cambridge! My girlfriend signed us up and I really enjoyed it! Wine school was fantastic. Mark is very knowledgeable and I felt he did a great job sharing his knowledge. I drink wine occasionally but I'm no expert. He broke things down to where I could understand and retain. You get a worksheet to follow along with a presentation. The presentation is very informative and engaging. He encourages everyone to participate and doesn't let one person dominate the discussion. He also answered lots of questions and even stayed afterwards to answer additional questions. I only went to one class (only in town for a few days) but I feel I have the beginnings of a solid foundation in regards to wine knowledge. I definitely feel more comfortable and confident in my ordering of wine and sending it back if it is "bad" (something I learned in the class). We tasted six wines and after the class was over, we were able to enjoy some of the remaining wine. There is also cheese, meat and crackers to go with the wine. I wish I had more time to attend additional sessions. I am now looking for other opportunities to continue to develop my palette.
  • I took the level two course, and it was a wonderful experience. I've always loved wine and wanted to know more about it, and this course has made me much more confident in my knowledge. It's cured the paralysis that often accompanied standing in a wine store unsure of what I was looking at. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to know a bit more about what you're drinking.
  • Attended a wine tasting evening recently at the Cambridge wine school. The event was well attended relaxed and very informative. Learnt how to taste wine, how food changes the taste, how to choose wine. Felt I actually learnt quite a lot. Recommended
  • Absolutely loved these classes. I found them to be very practical and are a great way to meet locals in the area. The instructor, Mark, is wonderful! He is very engaging, knowledgeable, and very kind. If you are in Cambridge, sign up!
  • Mark made the whole wine tasting experience informative but also really fun! Wine tasting was right up the Brides street, but for someone like me who is not a big wine drinker, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it! The games made it interesting and it was good to compete against one another to win the prize...you will want to book this experience just for that alone!! I would definitely recommend this to others. Thanks Mark!
