  • The most photographed landmark of Cambridge. Definitely worth the visit. A must have photo from Cambridge!
  • From the bridge there are unrivalled views over the river. The architecture is beautiful; the Bridge of Sighs in Venice is a very poor comparison to this.
  • Not as famous as the bridge of sighs in Venice, this 19TH-century bridge crosses the River Cam passing by the St John's College. But to be able to cross it we had to buy the ticket to the aforementioned college. The other option is to move below it with gondola, but this option was more expensive.

  • a beautiful bridge you should see when in cambridge either punting or walking. you can get pictures of it from the bridge parallel to it. there is a sign saying private but we saw lots of people walking over it so yolo.
  • Named for its Venetian counterpart, and equally lovely from land or from the Cam. Accessible through St. John's college.
  • Probably the best bridge in Cambridge! Has the same name of the famous bridge in Venice. This is bigger and probably more beautiful, however the Venice one has the same name because was connecting the royal palace with the prisons.
  • Not as good as the one in Venice but better than the one in Oxford. I recommend punting underneath it as the bridge itself is closed to all those tourists unwilling to ignore the official signposts.
  • calm, like the flow of water.
