  • Absolute rip off. £25 family ticket, 2 baby swings. Everything else you have to pay for. Couldn't " find the key" to clay play area?!
  • I love Calbourne Mill. A working mill which you can watch in action and buy the flour produced from local grain. The tea room is wonderful with huge home baked cakes using the same flour. Plenty for children to do and space to run about freely. And wonderful wildlife too. Think some reviewers have a narrow view of life.
  • One of the Gems of the Island This is one of our favourite places on the Island that we visit several times each season. Having a pay once visit as many times as you like residents card helps but its not just that. The mill is fascinating and the little museums of "stuff" are great always something new to spot and its thrown together so higgledy piggledy it just adds to the charm. The cakes are great and made from the flour from the mill. Feeding the doves and birds is great fun as they are so tame. They have loads of good interesting events to add to the draw. The only reason this doesnt get 5 stars is they are now too expensive on the peddle boat hire, great fun going up and down the mill pond, and the signage and general decor of the cafe is awful. But sit outside and you forget that bit :-)
  • Excellent place if you want somewhere a little more quiet. Huge water wheel and very educational. Very pretty area. Would consider the price quite steep but you can go back free for the rest of your holiday, handy for a nice picnic stop or game of crazy golf.
  • Very nice place for small visit. Nice small war museum. Nice place for kids play. Paddle boating facility. Nice to see peacock and ducks. Very old water mill.
