  • Remains of a roman fort. These are pretty much just foundations left but there is a sign board that explains how things were
  • Very good for a quick stop. The information on hand explained the location and it's surroundings including an overlay of today's houses.
  • Although it is just a ruin it is quite nice with the explanations provided and also the fact that it's Roman so VERY old. My 4 year old daugter loved it and was playing a princess entering through the gateways.
  • A nice quick twenty minute trip down history. All that remains are some foundations but the site is well maintained with several placards explaining and illustrating what it looked liked so its pretty easy to imagine what it looked like in its hey day. Only gave it 4 stars as its pretty easy to miss it.
  • worth a vist, interesting
