  • Went for a morning walk - nice place, pretty quiet. Loads of Parking but you have to pay. Some nice trails. Observation point is good although you can't see the horse from it and I didn't think it was...  more »
  • Just up the road & sooohh much there. The sculptured horse, wow. Wildlife, scenery. Grt for family day out even in Dec. Picnic spots everywhere. Ponds. A lot of different path routes in & around.
  • The site is a former coal mine that has been reclaimed and now is a country park. Lots of flat open grassy space with bushy clumps. Pay to park, picnic tables, but note that it is a popular dog walkin...  more »

  • Lovely park with lots if little sculptures hidden for you to discover along your trek. Most amazing is the vast landscape sculpture of Sultan The Pit Pony... which is very photogenic if you have a drone! Best seen from the air - and you can walk all along his body which is made up out of the old coal tip and reformed into this grassy masterpiece.
  • Had to deliver a vehicle to Caerphilly Borough Council & arrived 2 hours early, decided to take a drive around the village and found Parc Penallta so decided to park up (which is only £1 for 2 hrs) and take a walk around. I was totally amazed at the scenery on offer & great paths to walk along, Friendly locals walking their dogs & on relaxing stroll always cheerful & greet you when crossing paths :) Will 100% recommend to friends, family & return if I'm ever in the area. 5*****
  • Nice clean park with a lovely long trail around it and a wide open space to throw the ball for the dog Also plenty of pokestops!
  • Lovely and scenic, brilliant views. Great for walks, runs or taking the dogs. Always lovely and clean
  • Lovely place but some tracks do need little work. There r not lights what so ever
