  • By chance we found this to visit when the rain started. Brilliant for all kinds of folk, kids would enjoy too. The 'servants' give you a tour round and explain each room and life and times of the day....  more »

  • Went to an event which was excellent but then booked for Sunday lunch at the on site restaurant. The dinning room was not well laid out. The 5 of us were sat at a table meant for 4 with one added onto the end. Once seated we were ignored for over 10 minutes. Others who were coming in after us were served while we sat waiting. Staff were shouting too each other in the next room. In the end we went elsewhere.
  • Had a fantastic day, staff were warm and friendly, great character role acting. Food was full 5 stars and above. Cant wait to go back for ghost tour.
  • Had a great afternoon. Went one weekday afternoon in The winter and even though I was the only visitor I got given the full tour by the "servants". They were interesting and very knowledgable and it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
  • Really enjoyed my time there. Staff all in costume and keep to the 1645 theme. Had Sunday Lunch too - very good meal. Very educational for young and old alike.
