  • This hilltop feature in the western suburb of Buxton provides stunning scenery, after a brisk 30 minute walk. First through a deep wood, then a last climb through a cow pasture, the exercise is good. ...  more »
  • We often take the walk up to solomons temple through grin low woods to enjoy the extensive views from the top of the tower. Plenty of parking on surrounding roads below.

  • Enjoy a lovely walk through the woods to the temple at the top. Climb up the stairs of the temple and admire the beautiful view of Buxton. Well worth a visit. When you get back down, there are caves that can be visited and a nice coffee shop.
  • A great place to walk with an interesting history. Solomon's Temple is built on a burial mound. The views are outstanding
  • Lovely view over Buxton, I would suggest to park in the upper parking... The walking path from the city to the parking is not particularly interesting. However, the loop from the cave to the tower is pleasant and rich of nice views.
  • Lovely place from where you can see 5 counties if the weather is good.
  • Was great until the weather closed in. Be prepared for strong winds and rain even if it's calm in the carpark and above all... Take care.
