  • At the top end of Buxton near Pooles cavern. Easily accessible although we walked all the way up from the town. Cafe at Pooles cavern nearby for a pit stop. Good way to blow off the cob webs
  • for an enjoyable walk with excellent views start from Pools cavern car par follow path up through woods to Solomons Temple A circular walk takes about 45m it is well worth it.

  • Enjoy a lovely walk through the woods to the temple at the top. Climb up the stairs of the temple and admire the beautiful view of Buxton. Well worth a visit. When you get back down, there are caves that can be visited and a nice coffee shop.
  • A great place to walk with an interesting history. Solomon's Temple is built on a burial mound. The views are outstanding
  • Lovely view over Buxton, I would suggest to park in the upper parking... The walking path from the city to the parking is not particularly interesting. However, the loop from the cave to the tower is pleasant and rich of nice views.
  • Lovely place from where you can see 5 counties if the weather is good.
  • Was great until the weather closed in. Be prepared for strong winds and rain even if it's calm in the carpark and above all... Take care.
