  • Fantastic tour, probably the best cave tour I have experienced and that is saying a lot. The formations in there are well worth a look.  more »
  • well worth a visit for the price, in the cave for about 50 mins, could do with better lighting in the cave so you can fill saver on your feet and i think would be better for young children to see.  more »

  • I'm so fortunate to live on the doorstep of this place. Ideal for walking the dog and getting daily exercise. As an added bonus you also get a huge range of flora and fauna plus the best views of Buxton from anywhere. The Buxton Civic Association are to be thoroughly congratulated on the way they have managed and developed this area over the years, particularly the informative signage and sculptures.
  • As caves go the accessibility is good. Not to many steps as it leads into a hill. It was fine for a pregnant lady in our group and I would say good for older people too. Not a huge cave but worth a visit!
  • The guided tour was really informative and the tickets we got will last us a year. The cafe is lovely and staff very accommodating. An interesting place to visit for a couple of hours.
  • Interesting and informative. Our guide Luke was great, certainly knew his stuff. It was fun albeit a little pricey for what it really was.
  • Excellent trip to Poole's cavern to see Santa. If you visit at Christmas you need to make an appointment to see Santa. The staff were very well organised and the elves and Santa were all brilliant with the kids. We will definitely be going again next year and every year until the kids don't 'need' to see Santa anymore.
