  • Nice park gardens with abbey ruins. Toilets, cafe, ice creams.
  • A great place for a picnic and chill out. Don't forget to have a look at the resident birds.
  • Interesting walk around the grounds of the old abbey. Nice to see the gardens are kept in such a nice manner.
  • Very interesting walk about to explore what used to be a huge building. Until I read the plaques I didn't understand the size. Then I discovered the rest of the walls. My husband was thrilled that this was a free piece of history, the local kids are just walking around because this ancient thing is a part of their everyday lives. They haven't put up fences and entrance fees. There are only a few plaques about its importance, I wish it was a little more in depth.
  • Huge area to walk around in. So many things to see. The abbey isn't the only attraction. The ruins are my favorite part of this place. One day wasn't enough to explore the whole area.
