  • lovely historic piece of Bury St Edmunds history. Lovely to walk round aswell as visiting the Cathedral.
  • This is a lovely place, very tranquil you can wander around the ruins for ages reading the signs but I think it would be more interesting to have one of the guided tours they do in the summer.

  • Very nice historical place worth a visit
  • All the information plaques are great, really help when trying to visualize how magnificent the Abbey would of been if untouched.
  • The abbey grounds and ruins are open to the public. Great recreational space with fantastic history built right into the landscape.
  • A lovely park with a huge amount of history. Lots of play equipment and of course ruins.
  • Loved this place as I grew up there and it has changed so much just not the abbey gardens
