  • I tried to visit Branson water park with my wife but was unable to drive in as there is barrier across the entrance around 2 meters high. I am a full time wheelchair user and drive an adapted vehicle from my wheelchair. Because my drive-from-wheelchair is 2.5 metres high we were barred from access. We looked to see if there was anywhere we could park on the road side of the barrier but this needed to be kept clear for lorries accessing an adjacent yard. Very disappointing and a wasted trip as it wasn't accessible to us. We felt the council had let us down badly. So if you drive an adapted vehicle from your wheelchair don't go if it is over 2 metres high. Also, while we were turning around another couple who said they were on holiday in the area arrived in their motor caravan. They too couldn't get in and had a wasted visit.
  • Nicely tucked away. Plenty of wildlife to spot, access to the canal towpath. Bring your camera, bring your dog, bring your kids or just bring yourself. There is a cafe on site and public conveniences, well worth an hour of your time if you're in the area.
  • Nice place to walk for dog walkers young families and joggers to jog. They have a café here with seating but I have never seen it open. There is a park and information signs about the wildlife you might encounter whilst visiting
  • Lovely location and very quiet. Great for dog walking but there is a notice up asking dog owners not to allow dogs to drink the water, so be careful.
  • Nice playground, very good that there is a cafe, where can buy hot drink and go for a walk. Can pay with card. ...
